With scarce skills and staff shortages a key challenge for the hospitality industry, Hotel & Restaurant today took the initiative to address the problem by launching a dedicated careers portal.

www.hotelandrestaurantcareers.co.za went live with approximately one thousand job opportunities spanning almost a hundred employment categories.

Recruiters can list vacancies easily and job seekers are able to search within their career field, read details of the positions available and simply apply online, explained the publisher, Bradley Kantor.

The move is another step in providing a fully comprehensive solution to the industry, he said.

“We are developing the brand to be positioned as the number one source of information across the entire hospitality sector. We’ve already achieved this with our monthly magazine – now available as both a print copy and a digizine – as well as through our weekly webletter and the website, which is updated constantly. The careers portal adds another significant element to our offering.”
